Engineering Project Description
Keystone’s client proposed to convert the previously permitted and constructed bio-retention area/rain garden to a wet pond because deficiencies were observed during routine inspections. The rain garden was removed and a wet pond was constructed to utilize the same footprint while maintaining a functioning BMP. Keystone worked with the PADEP reviewer to gain approval with minimal review time. Keystone also provided construction oversight of the pond construction and recommendations to the company inspector and contractor for materials and construction methods in real-time. This led to a successful build and maintained function of the BMP. Keystone provided updated construction plans when design changes were warranted.
