Environmental Field Assessment in New Mexico

Meet Keystone’s Field Assessment team working in New Mexico, L-R Chad Long, Senior Scientist, Noah Zastrow, Environmental Intern, and Jackson West, Environmental Scientist I.

This team is collecting field data including habitat assessments for floral and faunal features with special emphasis on western burrowing owl, Dunes sagebrush lizard, nesting bird surveys, and protected species of cacti. Information collected in the field will be used to complete an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and a Biological Report for the New Mexico State Lands Office. Project activities are being performed for an energy client for the proposed completion of multiple well pads and ancillary infrastructure in New Mexico.
